Wall initials

I am looking for a little wall inspiration for a boys room & I saw these large oversized wall initials on Pinterest. I'm thinking in a chalkboard/magnetized paint...what do you think?

I think its very cool looking -- but I don't know about the chalkboard -- I would do a bright color depending on color scheme.
