Exterior Iron Gates & Stone Wall
Recently, I worked with my clients on the addition of an exterior wall & gates around their property. We chose to work with stacked stone, iron & travertine to complement the exterior style of their home. One of my favorite details is the curved iron wall by the entry gate. It adds a little softness & grace to the entry.

Panel & Brick
I have been finishing up a few projects for clients in Chandler. We built their home four years ago & now we are adding some finishing details. We added this gorgeous brick herringbone and wood molding in their ceiling! We also paneled their kitchen entry arch in this gorgeous alder wood! I am loving the richness & warmth that it adds to their kitchen! What do you think?

St. Patty's Day Treats
Last night, I made a few treats for St. Patty's Day bake sale fundraiser. I thought there would be a lot of green treats so of course, I wanted to bring something different. I made rainbow pretzel rods & dipped rainbow marshmallows! I wrapped them in cellophane bags, & tied them with shamrock ribbon. I also added free printables I found on HWTM from Little Sprout Creations & Modern Moments Designs. Let's hope they find a little pot of gold at the end of the fundraiser's rainbow!

Dr. Who Dessert Table
The party was a big success last weekend! I didn't get the chance to take great photos but at least you can see a few of the details! I set up a Tardis dessert table complete with the Doctors bow ties I made out of fruit roll ups, Adipose Marshmallow treats, Toclafane Oreo Bon bons, Fez Hats Rice Krispie treats, & Sonic Screwdriver pretzels. The cupcakes were from my kids favorite bakery, Mind Over Batter. The kids loved the Tardis straws and Dr. Who video game tournament my son created complete with a Tardis scoreboard! The kids LOVED all the details & all want to come over for the series premiere of the 50th anniversary on March 30th!

Rainbow Milkshakes for St. Patrick's Day
The boys are off from school for Spring Break & I wanted to create a special treat for St. Patty's Day! You know we all love ice cream at my house so I created a Rainbow MilkShake! It is super easy to do. I used vanilla ice cream and food looking to create our rainbow shake but you could use sorbet or frozen yogurt also. Start with the red layer, filling your glass 1/6 way full. Place glass in freezer, allowing layer to set up for about 10 minutes in the freezer before adding the next layer. Repeat process with all of the colors until you complete the rainbow! You can top with whipped cream & sprinkles if you desire!

Candy Bow Ties
My son is celebrating his 15th birthday with a few friends this weekend. Jake & his friends are obsessed with Dr. Who & he is asking for a Dr. Who themed dessert table. Of course, I have only a few days to put this together & Can I just say there is nothing out there with Dr. Who?
For those of you who aren't familiar with Dr. Who, he is famous for his bow ties. So I thought to make a candy bow tie. I found this great tutorial from Hilary makes where she creates bow ties out of fruit roll ups. I used red fruit by the foot & each roll up made 3 bow ties. I think they turned out great!
Wouldn't these be perfect for Father's Day, little man parties, formal events-the options are endless! Linked to: Skip to my Lou & Lil'Luna
