Edible Crayons

Brenda suggested these edible crayons from Gourmet Mom on the Go for our back to school bash & my boys thought they were so cool! Made with pretzel rods & colored white chocolate, they look fairly simple to make. They have even provided a template for the crayon labels . Now, should I make them with all the kids or make them ahead of time? Thanks again Brenda!

Julie & Julia Party

My girlfriend & I are SO excited to see Julie & Julia! She is an amazing cook & we share a great appreciation for good food. We thought, why not host Julie & Julia party on the opening night of the movie? She would pick a few of Julia's recipes and have a "cooking lesson" with all the guests. And of course, we would enjoy the feast of our culinary skills before the movie. I thought it would be fun to have the cutest apron contest & the winner would receive a Julia Child's cookbook. I also plan on testing out friends knowledge with Foodie trivia game! Bon Appetit!

Homework Assignment

This is the invitation for our Back 2 School Bash! The kids first "Homework Assignment" of the year is to HAVE FUN! I printed the invite details on notebook paper. slipped it in a folder, along with a pencil for an authentic, scholastic look. I posted their class schedule on the invites which listed all the activities they will be in while attending our party school!
