Courtyard Makeover

Wedding Monogram
I can't believe it is only a month until my sisters wedding in New York. I have been trying to help (as much as I can being across the country) and she has asked me to help design her monogram. I sent her a dozen to choose from & this is what she chose. What do you think?

Spongebob Pumpkin
I have been gathering ideas for Halloween & I found this picture of my oldest son. This was his beloved Spongebob pumpkin that I painted for him when he was four. I painted one just like it for his preschool fundraiser carnival & he was crushed when we had to take it to the auction. The next day, I painted him his own & surprised him when he came home from preschool & he absolutely loved it! I quickly snapped this pic so I could always remember his sweet face & pure joy! Now my little pumpkin is 6' ft tall & a freshman in high school but I will never forget our Spongebob pumpkin.

Before & After
It's amazing what a new upholstery job will do for your furniture! My clients barstools were tired and needed a makeover desperately! We chose this great Cabernet colored crocodile fabric that is backed with PVC. We added silver nailhead trim along the back of the stools to add a little sparkle. The fabric is perfect for barstools because It is extremely durable & cleans easily! What a transformation! How about you? Are you working on any design projects? I would love to see them!
