I love surprising the boys with fun treats for April Fool's Day. Tomorrow, I want to make them pizza & wings for dessert. This pizza cookie from Sugarbelle looks so yummy!
These rice krispie chicken wings from Party Pinching will be the perfect surprise! I love the green licorice used in place of the celery-it is the perfect touch!
What are you tricks are you playing tomorrow?

How To Make Your Own Beverage Basket
I don't know about you I do not like to look at a cooler at a party. For me, coolers are for camping. I saw this rattan basket beverage cooler & loved the look of it but not for $99. I then thought to myself, why don't I just make my own?
I went to Target yesterday and found this cute Smith & Hawken basket on sale for $24.99. It has a large capacity & cute chalkboard tag so I picked it up.
I then went over & found this plastic tub for $4.99. They come in several fun colors but I selected black because I wanted the liner not to be the focus.
I then placed the liner inside the basket & it was a perfect fit. I like the rubber/plastic because it holds all the moisture in, leaving no condensation on the basket.
I then filled it with ice, drinks & we were ready to PARTY! I forgot to buy chalk but I added a few stickers to the tag for fun!
This DIY project cost me only $30 with a savings of $69! AND the best part is, I like my basket better! The handles make it easier to carry & it has double the amount of space as the expensive version!

Lucky Limeade Pops
For St. Patty's Day, I wanted to create an adult version of those yummy frozen pops we all loved as children. I knew I wanted to use Adult Limeade as the base because ONE: it's super delicious and TWO: it's green! Adult Limeade is made with 100% agave reposado tequila, sweet agave nectar and all natural tart lime flavor ( basically, one of the best margaritas you ever had)!
To make my Lucky Limeade Pops, I simply mixed equal portions of Adult Limeade and Minute Maid Limeade. I poured them into plastic bags & placed them upright in a container & froze them overnight.
I also made Midori Limeade pops which are the darker green pops pictured. I followed the same recipe but added a shot of Midori. To serve, you can simply eat them as you would a regular ice pop or insert a straw to sip on the icy goodness. To make it even cuter, add these free St. Patty's Day printables from Tom Kat Studio.
My next Limeade flavors I want to try are Pomegranate Limeade & Cherry Limeade! I will let you know how they turn out!

Not that I am getting a huge response to my interior design projects but a few of you have asked to see what I am working on. This billiard room is part of the large design residential project.

Home Theater
Besides the GlamLounge feature in The 202 Magazine, my clients billiard room I designed was also in the same article. I love the masculine tones of the room with the rich dark woods & wall panels with nailhead trim.
