Tissue Paper Straw Flowers
Working on a few craft projects for our margarita bar for my fiesta bunco next week. I wanted to make some smaller tissue flowers for the straws. I followed these simple instructions from Fiskars & used a smaller 2" scallop punch to create the flowers. They are super easy to make & simply attach to the straw with a glue dot. Now I just have to decide if I like the black & white or the hot pink best-which do you like?

Graduation Open House Invitations
Our oldest is getting ready to graduate from Junior High (seriously, I can hardly believe it myself) & we are going to host an open house for friends & family. I found the perfect invitation from less ordinary designs.

Fiesta Flower Hair Clips
It is my turn to host Bunco next month & I picked a fiesta theme since it is SO close to Cinco de Mayo (& who doesn't love a margarita)? I always like to have a little something for the girls so I made these cutie hair clips for my sassy senoritas!

Pink Glitter Vanity
I had fun this week doing a little DIY project for my favorite 6 year old girl. I painted the vanity in this fun, HOT pink glitter paint (it was previously white, purple & green).
I recovered the stool with this adorable scotty fabric & added a cute beaded trim! I can't wait to give it to her on Friday!

Egged on
For the past several years, we have "EGGED" our friends & neighbors. For those of you who don't know, you hide candy filled eggs outside their home, ring the doorbell & they are suprised with a fun Easter treat. Every year I like to make a little something homemade for the baskets & this year I dipped Peeps in candy melts for our baskets.
I also packed up the baskets with other sweet Easter treats for our friends & added this "You've Been Egged" printable from Anders Ruff.
The highlight of the egging were the glow in the dark eggs! The kids all loved them!

Glow In the Dark Easter Eggs
Have you seen these Glow In the Dark Easter Eggs from Lil' Luna?
This is such a fun idea & easy to do! Simply place a glow stick inside a large plastic egg & viola, you have a glowing egg!
We made them this Saturday night for our friends party & the kids went crazy for them! They were such a big hit, I am making another batch for when we EGG our friends & neighbors this week!
