I wanted to congratulate Kara from Kara's Party Ideas for winning the Summer Party Ideas contest on HWTM! Anyone who has seen her Circus/Carnival Party knows what an amazing job she did so CONGRATS Kara! With all this talk of Circus & Carnival Parties, I started looking for cute circus treat ideas for future parties.

Piece of Cake






The cake turned out SO cute! Thank you Dana! We used paper flowers for the centerpieces and filled the glass cylinders with Mike & Ikes! I will post some pics of the luau tomorrow....

I saw these flip flop cakes on Better Homes & Gardens and thought they would be perfect for a little girls luau party (yes N.H. I am thinking of you). And I love these ribbon flip flops for a party craft for the girls-really cute & simple to do! Aloha!

Groovy Baby!





While on Hostess with the Mostess blog, I found this colorful cake from the Omnomicon. I can't wait to make this for the kids in my son's art class! I think it would be fun to try with cupcakes too. It would also be great for an Austin Powers/60's theme or color party!
