Valentine's Treats

I made a few treats for Valentine's yesterday & these rice krispie hugs & kisses were our fave

& the always popular chocolate covered marshmallows

& don't forget the dipped pretzels for those who like salty & sweet

I packaged some of the treats in these cute felt bags I found at Target.

We also made Evan's class Valentines-found the cute printable on Living Locurto & added POP ROCKS for fun!

A Latte Love

Valentine Surprise #8: I adore the "Thanks A Latte" cards from the girls at eighteen25 & thought I would try my own version for Valentine's Day.

I also printed one on brown kraft paper for the hubs (pink is not his color) for a little surprise. I tucked it in his briefcase so he can grab a coffee on the way to the office or the Phoenix Open this weekend.

Are you making anything for your sweetie this weekend?

Heart Milk Cubes

I adore this simply darling idea from Victoria of A Subtle Revelry... color & freeze milk ice cubes in a heart shaped tray. Kinda genius right?

And the best part? It slowly turns your milk pink...how lovely.

Love Everything You Dew

Another little surprise (#3) left for my sweetie-this time with his favorite soda, Mountain Dew. I left it in the refrigerator this morning with a little note that reads "I love everything you DEW". I know it is super cheesy but he loves it!

Mint to be

Another little Valentine suprise (#2) for the hubs-this time with his favorite Altoid mints. I hid the mailbox somewhere fun for him to find.

A few more fun treats to make...anyone have any cute ideas?

Sweet Signs

In Bunco, you have numbered tables which direct you where to go at the end of each round.  Instead of having just basic numbered tables, I named each table after love nicknames.

I also wrapped up a few prizes

so many fun things left to do!

Sealed with a Kiss

When I saw this sealed with a kiss wedding theme from Martha Stewart, I thought it would be perfect for a Valentine's dinner party too!  Don't you love the kiss garland in the background? SO perfect for a photo booth or dessert backdrop!

Heart Doilies

I am making these heart doilies for coasters for our Bunco night next week.  They are made from simple, paper napkins & would look cute under cupcakes on your dessert table too!  I am also thinking they would make a cute skirt for bottled drinks or cute garland idea if made out of cardstock.

Directions:
1. Position a prefolded square paper napkin so that the closed corner faces you.
2. Fold right corner toward left corner and flatten, forming a triangle.
3. Fold left corner toward triangle's longest side and flatten, forming a narrower triangle.
4. Using scissors, cut a convex arc from triangle to create top of half a heart.
5. Cut off bottom of triangle from left to right to create lower heart half, leaving at least 1/4 inch intact on right edge. (Left side of triangle will be center of a heart.) Unfold.
6. Repeat with napkins in several colors, varying position of cuts to create doilies in different sizes
