Art Can Be A Religious Experience

I love the rustic architecture and details of old Spanish churches. Phoenix artist, Kathleen Escobedo, has recently completed a series that I think is truly inspiring. I love her use of texture & depth of color in these paintings.

it's hard to say because they are all inspired, but i really love the last one . . . she is one talented lady!

i would love to hear more about how she came to do this series . . .
