Floating Pumpkins

Remember all those funkins I carved last week? I turned them into floating jack o'lanterns for the party!  I placed them in the pool with battery operated lights

they floated all around the pool & when night fell

they glowed & created the coolest feature of the party!

Everyone is still talking about them & it has become my coolest party trick yet!

Spooktacular Sweets

Our sweet birthday girl wanted a candy bar for all of her friends to take home.  I saw these adorable owls at PB Kids & they became the inspiration of the entire candy buffet

all the party printables are from Paula of Frog Prince Paperie

the birthday girl said it was yummilicious

What is a birthday without cake?

Our cake was created by Dana from Simply Sweets (LOVE the polka dots & diamonds)

Come back tomorrow! I will be sharing all the outdoor decorations!

How to make an entrance

For the Halbur's Haunted House, I wanted to dress up the front entry to welcome party guests.

I placed two back boa feather wreaths on the doors with jumbo spiders.  The birthday girl asked me to add a few spiderwebs & spiders to make it "spooky"

I lined the steps with lanterns & scattered a few pumpkins in for fun

I love the color & pattern of lanterns

How cute are these Haunted House luminaries?

They looked fabulous at night lined around the driveway

Stay tuned...my next post will feature the candy bar!

BOOED

We got BOOED again last night!  I attached the sign to my Halloween wreath & thought it made a cute addition!  I recognized the fun sign from the girls at Anders Ruff!

Now we get to BOO someone else (third time this season)!  It will have to wait until after the party on Saturday-I am in FULL party mode!  Have you BOOED anyone yet?  If not, get your BOO on & go have some holiday fun!

Back from The Happiest Place on Earth

Just returned home from another fantastic trip to Disneyland!  Can you believe my 13 year old is SIX inches taller than me?  My hubby shot this dia de los muertos pic and I loved how it turned out!   I have about 800 loads of laundry to do & then it's back to work tomorrow.

Mummy Cups

I am working away on my clients Halloween party & came up with these Mummy cups for the kids drink station.  I took white tulle, wrapped it around clear plastic glasses & glued googly eyes.  Super cute, easy & they will look great under the black light!

Flame Pumpkins

It is still too warm in Arizona to sitting by the fire but I love the idea of these flamed pumpkins from BHG.  Wouldn't they be fabulous piled up in the fireplace?
