Mario Birthday Bash

The boys had a great time at our Mario Birthday Brawl party for Evan's 10th birthday yesterday! I had SO much fun putting together their Super Mario Sweets table!

The boys loved the cupcakes I made with Super Mario characters

and cute candy stars.

For the cupcake & candy stands, I simply wrapped boxes in brick paper to look like the bricks from the Mario games.

I made the marshmallow 1UP mushrooms pops & krispie pop stars & displayed them in cardboard tubes that I painted green to look like the pipes from the Mario games.

I made the cotton ball clouds to the sky backdrop (thanks to Dawn from Not Just a Mommmy) which was the perfect finishing touch!

Of course, what is a party without favor bags?

Filled with Mario treats of course!

The boys also got their own "I'm The Bomb!" shirts

which helped them gear up to get their GAME ON

in the AWESOME Gamez on Wheelz 3D Video Game Truck!

The boys had a great time playing all their fun video games!

We even created a Players Lounge in the boys hideout under the stairs

where the boys could "chill-lax" and play Mario on their Nintendo DS.

It was another great birthday & Evan and his buddies are already planning next year's bash!

Looks like you all had a crazy time and it all came together amazingly! The boys looked like they had a blast, and that's always the best part.
