Mario Birthday Bash

The boys had a great time at our Mario Birthday Brawl party for Evan's 10th birthday yesterday! I had SO much fun putting together their Super Mario Sweets table!

The boys loved the cupcakes I made with Super Mario characters

and cute candy stars.

For the cupcake & candy stands, I simply wrapped boxes in brick paper to look like the bricks from the Mario games.

I made the marshmallow 1UP mushrooms pops & krispie pop stars & displayed them in cardboard tubes that I painted green to look like the pipes from the Mario games.

I made the cotton ball clouds to the sky backdrop (thanks to Dawn from Not Just a Mommmy) which was the perfect finishing touch!

Of course, what is a party without favor bags?

Filled with Mario treats of course!

The boys also got their own "I'm The Bomb!" shirts

which helped them gear up to get their GAME ON

in the AWESOME Gamez on Wheelz 3D Video Game Truck!

The boys had a great time playing all their fun video games!

We even created a Players Lounge in the boys hideout under the stairs

where the boys could "chill-lax" and play Mario on their Nintendo DS.

It was another great birthday & Evan and his buddies are already planning next year's bash!

Mario Star Rice Krispie Pops

Just made our Mario Star Rice Krispie Pops for Evan's birthday bash! Does anyone else find the rice krispie pops hard to work with? Next on the agenda... mushroom marshmallow pops!

Mario Favor tags

Putting together the favor bags for Evan's Mario birthday party & whipped up these last night. Toad is Evan's favorite character and he is the perfect choice for the "toad"-ally awesome favor tags.

Birthday Mario Shirts

I like to make birthday party shirts for all the boys friends for their parties but this year Evan found this shirt at Target. For those of you don't know, Bob-omb is a character from Super Mario (which is perfect for his Mario party theme). How cute will all the boys be in their "I'm The Bomb!" shirts!

Mario Birthday Party

We are getting ready to celebrate Evan's BIG 10th birthday in ten days! He wants a Mario themed party & we have rented Gamez On Wheelz for all the boys to play their favorite Mario games!

Anyone have any cute Mario ideas they want to share?
