Blue Sky Margaritas

Are any of you as obsessed with Breaking Bad as we are? With the season finale next weekend, I wanted to celebrate with a special cocktail in tribute to the show. ( For those of you who don't watch, the main character who is a chemist, creates a product called Blue Sky).

To mix up your own Blue Sky, start with one my faves, Adult Limeade. Pour 6 oz of AL into an ice filled cocktail shaker and add 1 oz of Blue CuraƧao.  Shake it well and pour into chemist glasses to serve.   For more fun, you can even add a small piece of dry ice for cool effect.  In the words of Jesse Pinkman, "It may be blue, but it's the bomb."

So slip on your haz mat suit, invite some friends over, mix up a round of Blue Skies & enjoy the show.

Class Reunion Straw Flags & Survival Kits

Putting together a few things tonight for our 25th class reunion.  I had Jess from Party Box Design make these cute custom straw flags for the bar.  I cam up with some fun sayings & had Jess create them in our school colors!

Aren't they so fun?!

We also put together a Survival Kit aka Welcome bag for everyone for when they check in to the resort.  We filled them with water, cookies, pretzels, Advil, gum, chocolate & the weekend itinerary.

All that's left to do are the favors & a few other items! It's going to be an amazing weekend!

Never forget 9/11

I remember & will never forget.

Class Reunion centerpieces

It has been a crazy couple of weeks & I am frantically trying to finish up a few things for our 25th class reunion this weekend.  I'm working on these centerpieces tonight for all the tables. Budget will not allow for fresh flowers so I had to come up with an inexpensive alternative. I copied our Senior pictures from pages from our yearbook.  I wrapped them around glass cylinder vases & placed a pillar candle inside. Simple & goes well with our black & white theme, don't ya think?  Only 11 more to go!

Theater upholstered wall panels

My client has selected her top four choices for wall panels for her traditional home theater.  They are all a printed velvet & will framed in a gorgeous walnut molding with nailhead trim.  Which is your fave?
