Christmas mantel
I'm changing things up this Christmas! I'm opting for a more simple display over my fireplace. I hung up this cute Santa that was in my front door wreath last year with a simple ho ho ho banner I made in less than 30 minutes with left over scrapbook paper. Cute & simple.

I am so excited! This year we are starting a new tradition of a gift exchange with my girlfriends. We are doing 12 days of our favorite things, in honor of the 12 days of Christmas. Here are my gifts to my sweet friend-I've wrapped 12 of her favorites & she will get to open one a day till Christmas Day!
What gift exchanges are you doing this year?

Girlfriend gifts
Every year I like to get a little something for my bunco girls. Since there's a lot of them, I try to keep the cost per gift to a minimum. Last year, I created these cute & fun gifts. This year, I created & printed custom stationery for each girl from designhergirls.com
I purchased Avery notecards & envelopes from Staples & got started creating each girl. For wrapping, I placed them in clear cellophane bags & tied a simple ribbon to close.
They are all packaged up & ready to go! And for less than $2.50 each! What do you think? I can't wait to give them to the girls at the Christmas bunco tonight!

Christmas Dinner Table
Last night was the start of our Christmas celebrations. My sweet sister & her new husband are in from NYC & we celebrated with a yummy family dinner cooked by my hubby. Of course, I am in charge of table setting & I snapped a quick pic with my IPhone before everyone sat down. We are casual entertainers-we like everyone to be comfortable & cozy so we piled everyone around the kitchen table. I love how the holidays brings everyone together-life is just how it should be.

For your mistle"toes"
For my Bunco group, I wanted to give each girl a little something for the holidays at our Christmas Bunco. I gave all the girls Peppermint & Chocolate dipped Oreos last year & I didn't want to repeat a gift. I started looking on Pinterest & found the cutest gift idea from Supreme Courtney! She gave nail polish with a tag that read "for your mistletoes" & I knew that's what I wanted to recreate! I found these cute mini galvanized buckets & wrapped a simple ribbon around it. I hand wrote a simple tag & wrapped it around the bottle! Easy peasy & in no time at all, 16 gifts for 16 great girls!
