Easter bunny favors

I am running around this morning getting Easter brunch together for my family & I am putting together little treat bags for the grown ups. I saw this adorable idea on Pinterest from Stick Stitch Cut. I grabbed simple paper lunch bags, cut bunny ears, drew on a bunny face & tied with ribbon.  Don't forget to add the cute Pom Pom bunny tails on the back!   Happy Easter!

Yummy Goodness

My best friend made us this delicious goeyness last weekend & I was amazed how yummy & super easy it was to make. The night before, she literally threw everything together in a minute, covered with a moist towel and in the morning we had this:

Can you guess what I'm making for Easter morning? Here is the recipe for you to try:

Paula Deen's Ultimate Coffee Cake

16 to 18 unbaked frozen dinner rolls
1 (3-ounce) package REGULAR butterscotch pudding mix, NOT INSTANT
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted

Directions
The night before place frozen rolls in well greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over rolls. Sprinkle brown sugar over pudding mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans over brown sugar. Pour melted butter over all. To prevent the dough from forming a hard crust while its rising overnight, cover with a damp towel or tightly wrap with plastic wrap. Let rise overnight at room temperature, about 8 to 10 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Turn pan over onto a serving platter to remove. Serve by pulling apart chunks with forks.

What is your favorite dish to make during the holiday?

How To Egg A House

I know, you think I have lost my mind-what exactly am I teaching my children? How to have fun, of course! I saw this idea from eighteen25 on Simply Creative Insanity this morning. We hung this sign on a few of our favorite neighbors doors,

filled eggs with our favorite Easter candy & hid them all over their front yards

wrote a note from the "Easter bunny"

filled baskets with some Easter treats & left it on their doorstep

rang the doorbell & RAN for cover! We could hear the kids screaming with excitement & happiness as they searched for their eggs. It was such a fun night with my boys, running around our neighborhood, creating a little Easter magic.

Peep Show

All three boys in my life LOVE Easter peeps! We might have to make some candy necklaces with peeps this year or at least make the place cards for our Easter dinner. My kids like putting straws through the peep bunnies for drinking and always place them on top of their cupcakes.
