Abby's Baby shower

Saturday was the baby shower I co-hosted with my BFF for her sister in-law.  We had the shower at the Estate Club in Gainey Ranch.  I had never been there before which made it a little challenging for set up.  We started with the adorable banner from our shower printables from Parties by Hardie & added paper daisies borrowed from sweet Kim



we were on somewhat of a tight budget but bff wanted a small candy bar for our guests

don't forget about our wrapped chocolate bars, yummy lemon cookies & lemonade (we also had the most delicious lemon cake but I didn't get a picture)

there also happened to be this HUGE cactus in the room that we could not remove so I added a few hot pink tissue balls to try & make it a little cuter

remember those clear glass vases I painted for the floral centerpieces?  I filled the hot pink one with yellow alstroemeria

and the other two were filled with white & pink alstroemeria

Abby's Baby shower

Customized Baby Gift Stationery

When I purchased the Elephant Shower party printables from Parties by Hardie, I also bought the gift printables for our mommy to be.   I printed out note cards, stationery, thank yous, bookplates, and stickers for our sweet parents.

 I bought a gray desk organizer, threw in some stamps & now have a cute stationery gift that is customized & coordinates with the shower.  

Can you think of anything else I should add?

Customized Baby Gift Stationery

Custom colored vases

For the baby shower, I have been looking for gray, yellow & hot pink colored vases & can not find them ANYWHERE!!  SO I pulled out my glass vases from my cabinets, swirled a little craft paint on the inside...

 & created my own custom colored vases

 the yellow & gray are for the table floral centerpieces (now I don't have to worry about all the stems showing through)

 of course when everything was out, I had to paint & glitter our elephants for the dessert table.

I love it when a project turns out!

Baby shower beginnings

I am helping my best friend (yes, I still call her that-we have been BFF since we were 7) with the shower decor for her sister in-law's baby shower.  She wanted grey & yellow for the colors & I found this gorgeous fabric for the tables.  Since they are having a girl, I am throwing in a little pink to "girlie" it up.

BFF loves the elephant baby shower collection from parties by hardie.  Jenn was sweet enough to do custom colors for us and add in our pink.  I found the cutest elephant punch from Martha Stewart & easy peasy, lemon squeezy, we have created a shower theme for our sweet Mommy to be.

Baby Shower for Mary

As I am planning Charlie's first birthday party, I suddenly remember his baby shower I co-hosted for his mom, Mary last year. We had the shower luncheon at one of her favorite restaurants, Tommy Bahama. simple zebra card stock for chargers

white & dark chocolate "zebra" pretzels for table favors

we played celebrity baby name and name the baby (winners took home floral centerpieces)

all the girls enjoying lunch
