Pac Man Pumpkins

My kids are huge gamers (with my hubby being the biggest fan of the bunch) & love all the retro video games-ESPECIALLY Pacman. You can imagine how crazy my boys went when they saw this! I love how they displayed them vertically, just like the game.

(I can't remember where I saw this so if anyone recognizes this, please let me know)

Halloween Party Treats

Every October, the Vallones throw the most amazing Halloween party! They go all out with the decorations & games for the kids. This year, they asked me to bring a dessert. Saturday, I made these Candy Corn Marshmallows, which were inspired by Simply Creative Insanity. They were a huge hit & super simple to make. I also made yummy cupcakes which were decorated with cupcake picks from Martha Stewart.

What yummy treats are you making this Halloween?

Cootie Free Halloween

My son's teacher frequently requests hand sanitizer for her classroom. To make the sanitizer a little more festive, I peeled off the label, hot glued scrapbook paper, stickers, and orange boa ribbon.

A simple black bag & stickers were used for wrapping. Hopefully, this will help prevent the spread of cooties in the classroom this season!

Babalisme Halloween printables

I saw these ADORABLE Babalisme Halloween printables on Living Locurto & had to share! These Halloween dress up dolls are too cute which you can download here. She also has a sweet invitation for Halloween & fun, printable scrapbook paper.

I think I might use the dress up dolls for placemats at the kids table for Halloween!

Reason to Boo

If these cute signs are not a reason to start "booing" in your neighborhood or at your office, I don't know what is. Kim from TomKat Studio designed these monsteriffic signs (so wish I would of had these earlier this week). You can download here templates here.

And these Boo-tiful signs are from Skip to my Lou & you can find the templates here.

We've Been Boo'd!

Sunday night, there was a frantic knock on our door. We opened the door to find a ghostly package filled with Halloween treats & a note from the goodie ghost! Every year in our community, neighbors and friends play the Boo'd game. For those of you who are not familiar, it starts with an anonymous gift left on your doorstep. Inside the package are Halloween goodies, a "We Have Been Boo'd" sign, and a list of instructions. It is then your turn to select 2 families in your neighborhood, make ghostly goodie bags, copies of the instructions & We've Been Boo'd sign (the sign is to hang in your window or front door to let others know that you have already been boo'd).
My boys love delivering their ghostly gifts! This is what my stealth ninjas delivered last night to their friends:

Our Boo buckets we gave contained Halloween cupcake mix & frosting, Ghost Peeps, silly string, glow sticks, & lollipops. It is a fun tradition we look forward to every year! Why not start one in your neighborhood, office, or family?

Jolly Roger

We made our version of a Jolly Roger for Halloween-made with shark's blood of course (which is grenadine to you land lovers)! We dressed it up with a licorice straw, black swords & cherries, pirate flag & gummy pirate, and Beware banner. What is your favorite drink for Halloween?
