Masquerade Signs

I finished the sign for the Masquerade Candy Bar last night

& the drink menus to place on the bar

All I have left to do is make the chocolate mask pops & we should be ready for Saturday!  BTW, did I mention that it is my Dad's 65th birthday & we are throwing him a little Mexican fiesta Friday night?  Just dinner and drinks for 50!  Thankfully, it is at my parent's house & I am just my Mom's assistant.  By Sunday, I should be ready for a little vacay-good thing we start Fall Break on Monday!

Masquerade Candy Bar

My girlfriend came over yesterday & we started to lay out the candy bar for the masquerade party next weekend.

I always like to see things ahead of time to make sure they are going to work out & fix any problems (like we need more gumballs & I need a better camera)

we are making the masks pops next week & I am working on the signs this week

thought I would change the background color so you can see it a little better

So what do you think? Do you like the black boa around the bottom of the containers? What else do you think we need for our Masquerade candy bar?

Mask Pops

We ordered these great candy molds from Amazon for the Masquerade Ball

We are thinking white & dark chocolate & possibly a little edible glitter or luster dust to add a little sparkle

What do you think? Should we add a little shimmer or keep them plain? Has anyone tried any of these products? I would love any tips or suggestions if you have any!

Masquerade Ball Masks

Two of my oldest, sweetest friends are throwing a Masquerade Ball for their birthdays in a few weeks. I am helping them on a few party details & my project this week is the drink menus for the different bars. They just happen to be twins & their color scheme is black & white. I ran to the craft store & picked up inexpensive craft masks, self adhesive crystals, a few feathers & this is how they turned out-I think they are fun & should dress up our drink menu frames!

I was thinking of dressing up the candy bar with masks too (Don't pay attention to the candy or container, it's what I had at home).

So what do you think? Do we like the masks on the containers for the candy bar too?
