This morning, I made a few treats for our friends annual Memorial Day bbq & swim party...my favorite are the candy dipped pretzels honoring our American flag.

Culinary Delight
I love the contrast of the white cabinetry, stacked stone wall, travertine & bronze accent tiled backsplash with the & wood floors for my client's kitchen in Gilbert.
One of my favorite features is the pot filler installed over the cooktop & range! No more dragging heavy pasta pots of water across the kitchen!

Girls Only Weekend II
Guess what will be here soon? That's right, girls weekend! Remember our 40th birthday celebration from last year? Sixteen of my sweet girlfriends turned the BIG 40 & we had an incredible resort getaway weekend! And our flippin' 40 flip flop favors (say that 5 times fast)? We had such a great time last year, we decided to do it again this year & make it an annual event! I started working on a logo for the weekend & my first attempt is posted below. I will be working on several ideas & would love your help in deciding which is the best. I would love any cute ideas for favors...I am thinking custom tote bags & tees unless you all can help me with something better.

Master Bathroom Luxury
For my clients in Chandler, we designed a luxurious master bath with the whirlpool tub as the centerpiece of the room. We wrapped a walk-in shower around the back of the tub with two sets of his and her shower heads withs seperate entries
I tied the two spaces together by using the same stone & glass tile in both areas. We installed travertine tiles on the shower walls & I added a travertine quatrefoil deco insert for an accent. We also used slabs of travertine on the tub deck & surround. I selected a GORGEOUS glass mosaic tile (the homeowner says she loves it because it looks diamonds) for the face of the stair risers & as a border in the shower.
It turned out beautifully & my clients enjoy using their luxurious master bath!
Las Vegas project update
Received some disappointing news...Vegas project fell through due to low appraisal.
My client is in Vegas looking at a few more properties-hopefully he finds something he loves even more. It's going to be hard to beat this view...

Abby's Baby shower
Saturday was the baby shower I co-hosted with my BFF for her sister in-law. We had the shower at the Estate Club in Gainey Ranch. I had never been there before which made it a little challenging for set up. We started with the adorable banner from our shower printables from Parties by Hardie & added paper daisies borrowed from sweet Kim
we were on somewhat of a tight budget but bff wanted a small candy bar for our guests
don't forget about our wrapped chocolate bars, yummy lemon cookies & lemonade (we also had the most delicious lemon cake but I didn't get a picture)
there also happened to be this HUGE cactus in the room that we could not remove so I added a few hot pink tissue balls to try & make it a little cuter
remember those clear glass vases I painted for the floral centerpieces? I filled the hot pink one with yellow alstroemeria
and the other two were filled with white & pink alstroemeria

Customized Baby Gift Stationery
When I purchased the Elephant Shower party printables from Parties by Hardie, I also bought the gift printables for our mommy to be. I printed out note cards, stationery, thank yous, bookplates, and stickers for our sweet parents.
I bought a gray desk organizer, threw in some stamps & now have a cute stationery gift that is customized & coordinates with the shower.
Can you think of anything else I should add?

Cozy & Comfy
My client wanted a cozy & comfy place to read and relax in her master bedroom. Instead of chairs or a sofa, I selected this double tufted chaise. My client LOVES to read bedtime stories here with her children and snuggle up for movie night with her hubby. It is now her favorite place in the house!
