Witchy Wedges

I forgot to show you my Witchy Wedges I embellished for the Witches Bunco Ball...

you knew I couldn't resist

I wish the wedges were black so the background didn't show through so much BUT I didn't want to buy anything & these were already in the donation bag for Goodwill!  So how about you-what are you wearing for Halloween?

Googly Eye Accessories

Guess what I am doing with all of the left over googly eyes from our mummy bars?  I can't get over the shoe cuteness of these wedges & how fun are these bangles?!!

How fun would this be on a headband for your little one?  You all know I will be making these this week!  If you want to create your own, go here for instructions.

Halloween Garland

Finally put our Halloween door garland up for the season! I added a feather boa wreath for a little more color on the door (which BTW is the easiest wreath to make: 2 feather boas wrapped around 24" form).

I am thinking I might need to add SOMETHING to the wreath to jazz it up-any ideas??

Mummified Treats

I have been seeing a lot of Mummies around my favorite blogs this Halloween season!  I adore these Mummy wrapped drinks created by Sara & I am thinking about making these mummy wrapped chocolate bars for my trick or treaters again this year.  Inspired by all this mummy cuteness, I wanted to create my own mummy treat!  This morning I stopped by the craft store & picked up these plastic ornaments

filled them with yummy candy corn

wrapped it in crepe paper, glued googly eyes on a black strip of paper

& VOILA!  A mummy is born! Couldn't be any easier or any cuter.  Maybe I'll make these for my trick or treaters this year.

Dad's 65th Birthday

A few people have been asking about my Dad's 65th fiesta. I snapped a few shots before all the guests arrived but didn't get as many as I would of liked

the papel picado & red luminarias were my fave

crepe paper flowers & hurricanes made an easy centerpiece

 LOVE my Mom & Dad

It was a great night for my Dad with many friends & family there to help him celebrate!

Star Wars Pumpkins

Did you see these Star Wars pumpkins on FantasyPumpkins.com?  R2D2 was always one of my favorite characters!

My brother Tom would LOVE this Death Star pumpkin!

What type of jack o'lanterns are you carving this year?

Halloween Cookie Houses

I always like to have a little something for our youngest trick-or-treaters.  My Mom gave me these small boxes of animal crackers & I thought they would be perfect as little Halloween Houses.

I got out my Halloween scrapbook paper left over from past projects & wrapped the boxes

glued on a little left over pom pom trim

embellished the house with a few stickers & ribbon

& created a fun treat for the little ones!

Now I just have to figure out what we are handing out to the older kids! What treats do you like to hand out for Halloween?

Halloween Candy Centerpiece

How cute is this Halloween candy centerpiece from One Charming Party??

This would make such a fun hostess gift too!

A Pumpkin Story

Seriously?  Michele from Primp made a pumpkin from paperback books??? GENIUS!!

I LOVE this idea!  I am so trying this with a little touch of vintage glitter of the edges & various sizes.  No, you can't have mine when I am finished BUT you can make your own with Michele's instructions that you can find here.

It's Boo Time!

Yes, it is that time of year again.  My boys think this tradition is one of the BEST parts of Halloween!

We gathered all of our treats for our booing adventure

&  packaged them up for our friends to leave on their doorstep!

Kim from The Tom Kat Studio has created the cutest Booed sign that you can download here.

Do you "Boo" your friends & family?  If not, you should start the tradition in your neighborhood-your kids will love you for it!

Halloween Tablescape Remix

The boys & I started decorating for Halloween yesterday (they LOVE to help)! We didn't get everything done but we did finish our pumpkin display for the sofa table. Every year, I try to move around the decorations so it doesn't look the same...

Recognize any of the decorations from my coffee table scape from last Halloween?

Do you like to move your holiday decor around or do you like to keep it traditional & recreate the same look year after year?
